This for me illustrates the difference between an ego leader and an authentic leader. Perhaps it is because they are so busy dealing with everyone else that they don't take the time to reflect. Or...they don't think they need to because ego gets in the way. Strategic self-awareness leads to success though resulting in authentic leadership. I love the use of assessments and personal coaching to achieve this, whether or not they are Hogan assessments.
