At JvR we strive to empower our clients, whether it be through knowledge sharing or providing you with choices and easy access to assessments. Your business means as much to us as our own!

We realise that a lot of our clients are exceptionally busy and would welcome a more efficient, immediate and easy way of gaining access to candidates’ assessment results. We are happy to announce that you may now choose to run your own scoring platform on the below-mentioned tools. This will allow you to administer assessments available on the platform, score the report of your choice and have immediate access to the results on your PC at any time suitable to you.

Benefits of running your own scoring platform
You are, of course, welcome to continue to use our Bureau Service, but there are benefits to using the new ‘personal’ platform. The benefits include:

Saving money – as soon as your own scoring platform has been set up, you will save 5% on the published price on assessments scored through your own system. The saving will solely be on report generation and will exclude raw material, books, etc. Any assessments scored through the Bureau Department (even of the same product), will be at normal cost. Please also ensure that your account with JvR (us) is kept in good standing to ensure you keep receiving the financial benefit of this wonderful opportunity.

Saving time – once you have your own platform, you can access assessments for report generation / receive reports immediately after your client has completed the assessment. This brings your turnaround time down, and allows you to work after hours, on weekends, public holidays and during the festive season when JvR takes their Christmas break. (we take our Christmas break)

Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-I®)

Based on more than 20 years of research by Prof Reuven Bar-On and tested on over 85,000 individuals worldwide, the EQ-i measures one’s ability to deal with daily environmental demands and pressures. A growing body of research suggests that emotional intelligence is a key determinant of success in life.

Respondents self-report on their life and workplace performance in 15 key areas of emotional skill that have been proven to contribute to proficiency in complex business activities such as conflict resolution and planning. By identifying the areas that need improvement, the client can immediately begin developing those areas. At the same time, areas where the client excels can be leveraged to their full potential to maximize effectiveness in daily tasks.

Other assessments available on this platform includes the EQ360, BOEI, MSCEIT, CAARS, QLQ, HPSI and the EQ-i Youth Version

Hogan Assessment Series

Hogan Assessments consist of the Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI), the Hogan Developmental Survey (HDS), the Motives, Values and Preferences Inventory (MVPI). These assessments can be used in combination or separately under each of the HoganLead, HoganSelect and HoganDevelop report categories. Used at all levels of the organisation – from entry level employees to executive level in particular.

The HPI is an exceptional assessment for measuring normal personality in the workplace. It was the first inventory of normal personality based on the Five-Factor Model as was developed specifically for the business community. The HPI is most commonly used for predicting employee job performance and for helping companies reduce turnover, absenteeism, shrinkage, and poor customer service.

The HDS is a business-related inventory that evaluates 11 behavioural tendencies that impede success. The 11 scales are interpreted in terms of risk – higher scores indicate greater potential for problems on the job.

Great companies often point to their culture as the reason for their success. The MVPI assesses the core values of individuals, which in turn define the culture of the organisation.

Campbell™ Interest and Skill Survey (CISS®)

The CISS instrument is used by psychologists and psychometrists in mental health, business, and educational settings. It is useful in:

  • Exploring new avenues in career development for clients.
  • Pinpointing areas of academic study that can build skills and, as a result, increase career options.
  • Helping individuals seeking personal counselling to find occupations or vocations that help meet their psychological needs.
  • Assisting employees who have been displaced by organisational restructuring and are faced with a job transition.
